We are closely monitoring the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other local agencies regarding COVID-19 Coronavirus.
With state-wide school closures and large work-from-home policies being rolled out by employers, many parents -- and especially healthcare workers -- are in need of safe, reliable childcare. At this time, experts believe small playdates among children are still appropriate. This is especially true among kids who are old enough to practice good hygiene and among spaces that are fully disinfected regularly.
As parents and members of this MeTime community, keeping you and your kiddos safe is our highest priority. But we also recognize that this unprecedented time is causing many families duress in trying to balance work and family life. For that reason, and based on expert advice, we will continue to allow bookings on MeTime until further notice.
We have asked that all of our providers adhere to the following CDC recommendations:
- Wash and disinfect any toys that children play with in your home, and frequently disinfect the surfaces you, and others, touch.
- Wash your hands thoroughly and often, for 20 seconds at least each time.
- Use a tissue or the inside of your elbow if you sneeze or cough. Immediately wash your hands after.
- Avoid touching your face (and other peoples’ faces).
During this time, we will have limited providers on the site. We have asked all providers who are high risk or have a family member who is high risk; are not feeling well or believe they may have been exposed; or came in close contact with someone who recently traveled abroad to an area affected by the virus to remove their availability through March 31.
During this time, all cancellation fees will be waived. Please cancel your booking if you, or a family member, is not feeling well or could have been exposed.
If you have questions or if you are a healthcare professional who needs to go to work, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
